Fertstock orders are paid by bank transfer against an invoice. There is no card payment, which is deliberate: the amounts involved suit a wire, not a card.
Getting the invoice
Once every line on your order has a price, you can open checkout. We generate an invoice with a due date and give you the account details to pay into, along with a link to the invoice online and a PDF copy.
Paying
Transfer the amount to the account shown on the invoice, quoting the reference exactly. When the money arrives the order is marked paid automatically. No one has to confirm it by hand, but a transfer can take a few working days to land.
Your stock is held for you while the transfer is in flight, so the order will not expire underneath you.
Delivery terms
Every listing states the Incoterms it is offered under, which decide who arranges and pays for transport, insurance and customs at each stage. Each term on the site has an explanation next to it. Check it before ordering, because it changes the real landed cost.
When the seller gets paid
Fertstock holds the payment after you pay. The seller is paid once the order is complete, which protects both sides. Our commission comes out of that payment, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Refunds
If a seller rejects your order after you have paid, the payment is returned to you. Because the original payment was a bank transfer there is no card to credit back, so you may be asked for the bank details to refund to.
